Biography of Kenneth C K LI
This award-winning photographer first got to know photography as a hobby in his teens. He is madly in love with photography, and soon discovered it to be both fun and challenging. He is particularly amazed by how ever-changing moments can be frozen, and the countless possibilities of composing a beautiful and stunning picture with lines, shapes, tones, textures and colours.
In 2010, the Championship surprise in the “EZone & Me Photo Competition” became a turning point that sparked his ambition to turn his passion into a profession. After graduating from the City University of Hong Kong, while many peers opted for more conventional and better-paid careers, he chose to follow his heart and joined a wedding photography company as an assistant. A year later, he co-founded Herz Photography with a friend, which quickly gained popularity and an enviable reputation. In 2017, he took a further step by establishing Kenn Photographic Arts, with a heartfelt mission to document the romantic moments of couples and help them visualize their unique love stories through timeless imagery.
Over the years, Kenneth has actively participated in international photography competitions to refine his craft. In 2018, he was honoured with The Winning Image in Black & White Category at the Master Photography Awards by the Master Photographers Association (UK), a milestone that further affirmed his vision and artistry. In 2020, his creative style and storytelling talent earned him a spot as a Nikon Z Creator, becoming one of the brand ambassadors for Nikon and representing the spirit of innovation and visual expression.
Kenneth received formal training in Fine Art Photography in the Philippines. He obtained an Associate of Science in Airport Operations and Aviation Logistics and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Aviation Management from the City University of Hong Kong and Coventry University, England, respectively. In 2018, he was also accredited as an Associate of the Master Photographers Association (UK), further recognizing his professional standing in the field.
